Shaanxi Aerospace and Military Industry

With the rapid growth of the economy, the development of the military electronics and aerospace technology industry chain is gradually improving, and the country has provided strong support in technology research and development, application conversion, and other aspects. As a military industry hub, Shaanxi Province attaches great importance to implementing the development strategy of the military industry, and has taken effective measures. It has achieved remarkable results in promoting the deep integration and development of the military and aerospace industries, becoming a new highlight of regional industrial development.

Shaanxi has become one of the major provinces in the military industry and also one of the major provinces in the aerospace industry. It holds a quarter of the country's aviation professionals and high-precision equipment, and is also an important base for the design, research and development, test flight, and production of large and medium-sized aircraft in China. It has a number of exclusive aviation industry resources. Shaanxi has strong comprehensive technological strength in the defense and military industry system, including nuclear industry, aviation, aerospace, weapons, ships, and local armies (excluding electronics and defense and military industry enterprises in Shaanxi), with nearly 200 enterprises and institutions, including 61 production enterprises and 27 research institutes; 280000 employees, including 97000 scientific and technological personnel of various types; Having over 100000 sets of various electronic testing equipment, it has basically formed an important national defense industry research, design, testing, and production base in China.

Currently, Shaanxi Province has formed six major military civilian integrated industrial bases: Xi'an Yanliang National Aviation High tech Industrial Base, Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base, Xi'an Industrial Science and Technology Industrial Base, Xi'an Shipbuilding Science and Technology Industrial Park, Hanzhong Aviation Industrial Park, and Weinan Pucheng General Aviation Industrial Park.
